From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The forthcoming Isle Of Wight Festival 2008 is the seventh revived Isle of Wight Festival to be held at Seaclose Park in Newport on the Isle Of Wight. The event will take place between June 13 - June 15, 2008.
Tickets went on sale in December 2007 and were sold out within weeks.
This year will be the first time that the festival will be screened live on TV. After four years of highlights packages being broadcast on Channel 4, this year ITV have announced that they have won the rights to broadcast live on ITV2. There will be live programmes on each of the three days. These programmes will start at 11:00pm on Friday, Saturday and Sunday and contain mainly highlights of the days performances, each show will feature some live elements and possibly performances, but don't expect all day live coverage.

It has been designed as a way to guarantee members the peace of mind that they have no ticket worries.
