Isle of Man Football Association

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Isle of Man Football Association (IoMFA) is the body that coordinates and organises the sport of football on the Isle of Man. It is not a member of either UEFA or FIFA, but is a member of the London-based Football Association (FA) and has the status of a County Football Association, despite the Isle of Man being a Crown dependency, a separate country from the United Kingdom nor a member state of the European Union.

It operates the Isle of Man Football League and Isle of Man Football Combination, both of which contain 27 teams (the Combination is in effect a reserve league). It also runs the Isle of Man national football team, which is ineligible to participate in full international competitions as it is not yet a FIFA or UEFA member.

The IoMFA are based at the national stadium, The Bowl, in Douglas.
