Island Girl (Beach Boys song)

"Island Girl" is a song written by Al Jardine for the American pop band The Beach Boys. It was released on their 1989 album Still Cruisin'.

In the liner notes, the song is listed under the title "Island Girl (I'm Gonna Make Her Mine)", but on both the back cover and on the CD itself, it is listed as "Island Girl". Al Jardine's sons, Matt and Adam contribute to the backing vocals on this track. Matt would perform with The Beach Boys on tour in the 90s. Both Matt and Adam joined their father's band after he left The Beach Boys touring group in 1998.
