Islam in Burundi
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Muslims in Burundi are officially around 1% of the total population, though Muslim Burundians estimate the figure to be closer to 8-10%.[citation needed] The CIA World Factbook also puts the figure at 10%.[1] Burundi is by constitution a secular state, although Eid Al-Fitr is among several national holidays.[2]
