Points of similarity and abuse
  • The similar construction of "animal" usernames Revolver Ocelot/Guardian Tiger is suggestive.
  • The repetitious wikilawyering and bad-faith citing of policies are strongly similar editing styles between the accounts.
  • The stalking of Certified.gangsta is the same behavior between the accounts.
  • Guardian Tiger is obviously a sock or reincarnation, I don't see how anybody could deny that. The question is whose. S/He started editing on December 27 2006 and was immediately knowledgeable in the ways of the site, with the very first edits contain shared IP tags, reverts, all properly indicated in impeccable wiki slang in the edit summaries.
  • The blocking of RaGnaRoK SepHír0tH. The blocking admin, Dmcdevit, described the block reason in strong terms--not so much in the block log but when challenged with the kind of policy-lawyering typical of all these accounts: "Surprisingly enough, people who, within one day of editing, engage in stalking and massive edit wars across many pages without productive edits, and are merely reincarnations of earlier problem users, aren't welcome here. Maybe I could have been more accurate in my block log, but I think you are a troll, and I don't use that word lightly." Dmcdevit·t 06:11, 1 November 2006 (UTC)

Certified.gangsta has not gotten a lot of help and sympathy from admins or CheckUsers on this. That's understandable, as he is himself a somewhat well-known nationalistic POV-pusher. I'm sort of mentoring him, though, and I see good will and hope for improvement in him. IMO it's quite possible to get a sense of his present--and long-time--situation of being stalked and harassed by a troll without seeing it through the filter of Certified.gangsta's generally dubious reputation.
