Hi Isaac, and welcome to Wikipedia! Unfortunately, one of missions here is to foster the growth of free content, and as such non-free images of living persons generally aren't allowed (see WP:NFC, section "unacceptable use"). You mentioned that you received permission from the copyright holder of the image to post it on Wikipedia - could you please try to get them to release it under a free license such as the GFDL or CC-BY-SA?
