[edit] Pool Scene

Having seen the toy, I'm almost positive it's protoform optimus prime coming out of the pool, where did you get the info that it was ironhide?

Seconded. That was Prime. Well, I mean, maybe it was the Tooth Fairy.
No, because he walked in front of the house and scanned the pickup truck in their driveway. it was Ironhide. user:mathewignash

I've got the scene paused on the PC - it's definitely Prime coming out of the pool, Ironhide lands in the open area near Sam & Mikeala —Preceding unsigned comment added by 81.178.238.246 (talk) 20:23, 29 November 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Broken Ankle

I remember reading here that after Ironhide climbed out of the pool, it was evident that his left ankle was broken. When I saw the movie for the third time, as he is walking away from the girl, he's limping on his left leg. Why was it removed?Stormfin 20:19, 31 July 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:Autobot logo s.jpg

Image:Autobot logo s.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 21:58, 31 May 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Transformers Film 2007

A helix twist? C'mon, we all know it's a barrel roll

Barrel Roll is an aircraft move - Ironhide's a lot of things but a flier isn't one of them.

"According to the tech specs of his toy, he was built during the Battle of Tyger Pax, and is one of the oldest Autobots."

Given the literature of the prequel comics, aren't those two statements in contradiction with one another? I suggest dropping the "battle" statement. Darth Sidious 18:37, 12 August 2007 (UTC)

Maybe there was more than one battle at Tyger Pax in a million year war? He was built at one, and fought in the second. Mathewignash (talk) 21:33, 29 November 2007 (UTC)

Question in the movie it's shown quite clearly that his weapons are a missle launcher on each forearm. Why does someone keep stating that his weapons are laser canons in his movie bio?Jacenskylo (talk) 00:02, 8 December 2007 (UTC)

The video game says he has lasers as well. I took it right from the official game guide. Mathewignash (talk) 01:24, 8 December 2007 (UTC)

I think we should just stick to whats in the film 68.82.72.15 (talk) 06:51, 11 January 2008 (UTC)

That arguement may work on the movie page itself, but Ironhide is a character who appeared in a movie, as a toy, in magazines and comics. All the official liscened information about him is equally valid, not just what is seen in the film. Mathewignash (talk) 22:29, 11 January 2008 (UTC)
