This was Iron Man's second ever appearance in other media following the Marvel Superheroes "animated" (a very loose term) series from the 1960s. Here, Iron Man plays a rather pivotal role in the Spider-Friends' crime fighting careers. Tony Stark (as explained in the episode "The Origin of the Spider-Friends") gives Spider-Man, Iceman and Firestar computers as a reward for capturing The Beetle and saving his inventions. |
