Irina Reyn

Irina Reyn (b. 1974) is an American novelist.
Born in Moscow, Russia, she emigrated with her parents when she was seven to Brooklyn, New York. She was educated at the Rutgers University (BA) and earned a MA in Slavic Languages and Literatures from the University of Pittsburgh and a MFA in Creative Writing from Bennington College.
She has published short stories and essays in literary magazines. She is the book review editor for the on-line literary magazine, Killing the Buddha. She has published over 150 book reviews, including reviews in major newspapers. From 1994-1999 she worked in publishing and television in New York.
Reyn is a visiting professor in the Creative Writing Program at the University of Pittsburgh.
