Iranian American Medical Association

The Iranian American Medical Association (IAMA), is a professional organization in North America.
IAMA is a charitable, non-profit organization for Iranian-American healthcare professionals and students; physicians and non-physicians. The stated goal of IAMA is to provide assistance to the Iranian-American community in need and to promote networking, along with support among Iranian-American healthcare professionals. IAMA was also organized for educational purposes, for assisting students financially and for providing free healthcare assistance to needy Iranians.
IAMA has several branches across the United States, and holds annual meetings and conferences. IAMA-Texas publishes medical articles in a monthly called Asheghaneh Magazine. These are patient information articles on relevant medical topics written in Persian for the general public.
