Ira Sebastian Elliot is the drummer of the NYC band Nada Surf. He was named after Ira Gershwin and Johan Sebastian Bach.[1] He began playing the drums at 11, in his middle-school's band.
He also appeared in Stoned, an 1980 ABC after school special starring Scott Baio.
