  • Description: 050602-M-3301A-020 Fallujah, Iraq (June 2, 2005) - Cpl. Aaron Barney searches a small area village while patrolling through Asragiyah, Iraq looking for weapons, caches, and insurgency. This patrol is a counter-insurgency operation in support of Iraqi security forces that are designed to isolate and neutralize opposition. Efforts by this Marine and many others will assist in the continued development of a secure government that enables Iraqi self-reliance and self-governance.
