Iota Centauri (ι Cen / ι Centauri) is a star in the constellation Centaurus. It carries the rarely applied traditional name Alhakim ("The Wise One"), dervived from the Arabic title Kentaurus al-Hakeem (قنطورس الحكيم), meaning "The Wise Centaur".
ι Centauri is a white A-type main sequence dwarf with an apparent magnitude of +2.75. It is approximately 58.62 light years from Earth.
