Ioannis Topalidis

Ioannis Topalidis (Greek: Ιωάννης Τοπαλίδης, born February 24, 1962) is a former Greek football player and is the current assistant manager of the Greek national football team.

He spent most of his football career in Germany, where he played for clubs such as Spvg Ludwigsburg, VFR Burstadt and Starkenburgia Heppenheim in the German 3rd Division.

He began his coaching career with Eintraht Eslingen in 1989, and went on to coach SC Geislingen, TSG Backnang and (Assistant coach) Hertha BSC Berlin. He became assistant manager to the Greek national football team in 2001. He was brought in by German Otto Rehhagel.
