Ioan Lupescu

Ioan Angelo Lupescu widely known as Ionuţ Lupescu (born 9 December 1968 in Bucharest) was a Romanian footballer who played as a midfielder. His clubs included Dinamo Bucureşti, Bayer Leverkusen and Borussia Mönchengladbach. Ioan made 74 appearances for the Romanian national team, scoring 6 goals, and retired in 2002. He became a member of FIFA's Technical and Development Committee in early 2008.
