[edit] Fan reaction?

Should there be a section mentioning the controversy about the fan reaction? Big Finish's book on their audio plays, released in 2003, contains an interview with Gatiss, in which he takes issue with American fans who were upset about the historical inaccuracies. Gatiss explains that the inaccuracies were deliberate symptoms of the Doctor's meddling with time (starting with saving Charley). However, if listened to as a stand-alone story, you can NOT tell that the inaccuracies were intended, or why (a couple of simple lines of dialogue would have sufficed!). Perhaps create a "Trivia" section and include this and maybe a couple of other details from that book? --JohnDBuell 05:19, 29 November 2005 (UTC)

A lot of the inconsistencies were NOT intended but just typical of the slipshod writing of the Big Finish team at the time. The retconning conveniently covered up mistakes.--Stu-Rat 18:14, 24 July 2007 (UTC)
