Template documentation
- This is a tag meant to be used instead of {{wikify}} when an article is properly laid out and only lacks relevant internal links. An optional parameter can be specified to give other Wikipedians an idea of what general topic this article covers so that they may add links relevant to it.
- Use of this template adds the article to Category:Articles that need to be wikified.
- If a parameter is provided such as {{internallinks|date=June 2008}} then the page is put into a by-date category instead. Another way to do this is to paste the following to the page:
{{subst:dated|internallinks}}If the date is left out, a bot will add it. - The simplest way to add this template to an article is to copy and paste
{{internallinks}}to the top of an article. - Please do not subst: this template. Use of the {{dated}} template does require a subst:, which is used to save the current date.
- Please do not include Category pages.
- Parameters:
- First parameter = article topic (will be wikified):
{{internallinks|Food}} - Other parameter = date tagged:
{{internallinks|date=June 2008}}or{{internallinks|Food|date=June 2008}}
- First parameter = article topic (will be wikified):
-
- Using the topic parameter makes the template look like this:
| This article needs more relevant internal links to meet Wikipedia's quality standards. The general topic of this article is Food. Please help improve this article by adding useful internal links. |
