[edit] Mileage

NYSDOT and FHWA show a length of 0.5 mi. This doesn't make sense; that's less the distance from the state line to the east portal of the tunnel. The NYSDOT traffic counts also show that mile 0.5 is at "ACC RT 478I"; 0.5 miles is where the tunnel passes under NY 9A, but makes absolutely no sense as an actualy mileage figure. Thus I went with 1.1 miles, the distance from the state line to exit 5 from the tunnel. If you think this is too precise, we can go with 1 mile; the westbound length is 0.9 miles. --NE2 02:27, 30 October 2007 (UTC)

Actually I will go with 1 mile. --NE2 02:46, 30 October 2007 (UTC)
