There are so many terms that need explaining from this article, theres too much for me to do alone... im gonna need some help, i can tell you enough about each term to allow you to find more via google for a full article... eg for N-PORTs you want "fibre optic node ports" anyway, leave a message on my user page if your able to research, ill gladly go over the articles later when ive got time... [edit] {{tech}} tag

I removed the {{tech}} tag, changing the article title to Internet Fibre Channel Protocol (formerly internet Fibre Channel Protocol). Despite the abbreviation "iFCP", I have never seen the word "internet" fully spelled in such a way that would warrant the title of the Wikipedia article using a lower-case "i" (for a comparison, see mRNA, but also iPOD). In addition, the article edit history seems to suggest that an editor attempted to reinsert a previously deleted {{technical}} tag, but didn't add it correctly.

However, I'm no expert on this subject. If any editor believes that the initial "i" in the article title shouldn't be capitalised, they can add {{tech}} to the top of the article to restore it. Cheers. – Liveste 08:56, 14 November 2007 (UTC)
