[edit] Internal Troops in a state of emergency

About passage that looked dubious to one of the editors: as far as I know, Ukrainian Internal Troops fulfill special mission in case if an official state of emergency (Ukrainian: надзвичайний стан) is declared in the country. According to the Law "On the state of emergency", the Troops establish headquarters of the emergency, maintain (or "fulfill"?) the regime and co-ordinate the efforts of other govt. institutions. And this is about state of emergency, not the state of WAR (when military are in charge). I'm not really sure if my knowledge is up-to-date, and I have no external links for all this right now, not to mention English links. That's why I decided to put the "dubious" template there for now.AlexPU 07:05, 20 June 2007 (UTC)
