[edit] Name

The name of this telescope, INTEGRAL, is the name of the spaceship in the 1921 scifi novel We. Is this coincidence or tribute? ~ Riobranden 18:16, 5 October 2006 (UTC)

  • Probably just a coincidence, since it is an abbreviation. They were more likely thinking of the mathematical reference when they thought of it, I would guess. --Etacar11 18:50, 5 October 2006 (UTC)
