[edit] Format
An introduction letter should not be written as a standard business letter or personal letter and should not normally exceed one page. In some cases, introduction letters can include attachments that relate letters such as: brochures, pamphlets, career briefs, biographies, etc.
Introduction letters should not be confused with cover letters that are used to transmit resumes and curriculum vitae and various business documents.
