In the U.S. state of Minnesota, Interstate 90 traverses in the southern side of the state, parallel to the Minnesota-Iowa state line. Between the South Dakota border and I-90's intersection with Minnesota State Highway 16, the highway served as a replacement for U.S. Route 16.
[edit] Route description
I-90 is atypical in that just across the eastern Minnesota border, the median is wide enough that farms exist between the road beds.[2]
