Internet Tablet
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Internet Tablet is the name of a range of mobile internet appliances made by the Nokia Corporation that focus on internet and media features.[1] Internet Tablets fall in the range between a Personal Digital Assistant (PDA) and an Ultra Mobile PC (UMPC), and slightly below Intel's Mobile Internet Device (MID).

[edit] Internet Tablet OS
Nokia Internet Tablets run the Debian Linux-based Internet Tablet OS, which draws much of its GUI, frameworks, and libraries from the GNOME project. It uses the embedded-targeted Matchbox as its window manager, and like the forthcoming Ubuntu Mobile, it uses Hildon, a lightweight GTK-based toolkit designed for handheld devices, as its GUI and application framework.
