ISRIC - World Soil Information, established in 1964 is an independent foundation with a global mandate, funded by the Netherlands Government, and with a strategic association with Wageningen University and Research Centre. Our aims:

To inform and educate - through the World Soil Museum, public information, discussion and publication
To serve the scientific community as custodian of global soil information as ICSU World Data Centre for Soils
To undertake applied research on land and water resources
