International Renewable Energy Alliance

International Renewable Energy Alliance (IREA) is an alliance consisting of 4 international organisations (WWEA, ISES, IHA, and IGA) representing Wind, Solar, Hydro and Geothermal power respectively. The alliance provides a united voice on renewable energy issues and interests among world leaders in the renewable energy community as well as national and international associations.

Founded on the 4th July 2004

To provide the right environment to increase the uptake of renewable energy, through influencing political policy at national and international level, encouraging business by developing and supporting the market, as well as providing information to stakeholders.
