CONSOL is Spanish for "COngreso Nacional de SOftware Libre", the International Free Software Congress. It has been joined by free software professionals from Mexico, Latin America, Colombia, Chile, Brazil, Argentina, the United States and Canada.
This congress is organized by and for members of the free software community. They are developers, administrators, promoters and users, in general of anything which is related to free software. The goal is to learn from each another and to share in building a better community.
The congress is not limited to Linux users. Its doors are open to anyone proposing another approach to free software. It is all-inclusive, trying to benefit from the richness inherent in diversity.
It is celebrated in Mexico City in February every year. You can reach it at www.consol.org.mx [1]
