Why shouldn't this simply be redirected to musician? I can't see there being any prospect of significant independent content here. Wikipedia is not a dictionary. --Robert Merkel
I was wondering much the same thing. I have tried to make it slightly more useful by (a) removing some stupidities (trumpetist!) (b) pointing out some alternatives (not all horn players want to be called hornists) and (c) making a general point on usage. But whether this makes it useful enough to justify its continued existence, I'm not sure. What useful encyclopedic role does this page now serve? Nevilley 09:03 Nov 12, 2002 (UTC)
