The Institute for Advanced Studies in Basic Sciences (IASBS) is an advanced research center and graduate level degree granting institution in Zanjan, Iran. It was founded by its current director Prof. Yousef Sobouti in 1991.
The institute is considered to be one of the most productive research centers of the country. It offers advanced degrees (Masters and above) in Mathematics, Physics, Information Technology, and Chemistry.
