The confirmed returning characters are Mario, Zelda, Yoshi, Peach (Also known as Princess Peach), Bowser, Kirby, Pikachu, Fox, Donkey Kong (Also known as DK), Link, and the Ice Climbers. The confirmed newcomers are Pit, Wario, Zero Suit Samus, Ike, Pokemon Trainer, Diddy Kong, Meta knight, and Snake (Snake is confirmed, but oddly, he is not on the Character List. He was confirmed on the first Super Smash Bros. Brawl video). The confirmed items are the Gooey Bomb, Cracker Launcher, Crates and Barrels, Banana Peel, Bumper, Pitfall, Smoke Ball, Franklin Badge, and the Superspicy Curry (Pokeballs are still items). The Assist Trophies are items that when you pick them up, it summons a random unplayable character to aid you (much like a Pokeball, but you do not throw it). The confirmed Assist Trophies Characters are Samurai Goroh, Dr. Wright, Knuckle Joe, Devil, Andross, and Lyn. The confirmed Pokeball Pokemon are Groundon, Deoxys, and Munchlax. The confirmed stages are Battlefield, Selfino Plaza, Yoshi's Island, Lylat Cruise, Bridge of Eldin, Smashvile, Rumble Falls, Sky World, Castle Siege, WarioWare, Pokemon Stadium 2, and Battleship Halberd. Suggestions:

In Super Smash Bros. Brawl I hope Sonic will be a playable character. If he did, it would be cool if his Final Smash would either transform Sonic into Super Sonic for a short period of time, or if he uses Chaos Control to freeze all characters and time except Sonic for a short time and Sonic would be able to hit them while doing damage, but they would not move or fight, leaving them with alot of damage after Chaos Control wears off.

I hope Ganondorf reappears as a playable character and his Final Smash would either be Gannondorf transforms into Gannon for a short period of time. Information Giver 23:43, 15 September 2007 (UTC)
