[edit] Size of the template

I tried to reduce the width of the template, but I failed to do it. Someone who knows how to do it, please reduce the size. This template takes up a lot of space. Janviermichelle 22:36, 14 July 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Context parameter

This now takes a {{{context}}} parameter, just as {{Koreanname}} does. At the moment the customization for North Korean districts is limited to swapping the order of MR and RR, and changing the name of hangul... are there more extensive changes we should make? -- Visviva 12:24, 5 November 2006 (UTC)

I've done a complete rewrite of this template which will enable it to supersede a number of others, such as {{Infobox City Korea}} and {{Infobox Korean province}} etc. See Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Korea for details. PC78 08:40, 23 August 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Independant ref fields

This template should probably use independent fields for its references. I believe it was the formatnum: that was causing the problems with the refs. I'll redo my edits without the formatnum and see about including independent fields for any references. —MJCdetroit 00:51, 29 August 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Calculating pop density from population and area

Calculating the population density is something that could be added to the template code. It would work if the field popden_km2 was not filled in and pop and area_km2 were filled in. Then the template would calculate population XX divided by YY square kilometers = X people/km². This of course could be overridden if the field popden_km2 was filled in. [edit] Centralising title

Does anyone know a way to get the title to appear in the middle of the box allocated to it? As it is, it appears right at the top, with a huge space below when you get a city logo in there, so putting it vertically centrally would be much more appealing to the eye, I think.
