Field names with asterisks (*) are required fields.

name * 
The name of the index.
logo 
The official logo of the index, if it has one, in the format [[Image:imagename.png|centre]]
image 
Any image which may be related to the index, in the format [[Image:imagename.png|centre]]
caption 
Any caption which may be appropriate for the above image.
foundation 
Date of foundation of the index.
operator * 
The company or organization which administers the index.
exchanges * 
The stock exchange(s) from which the index constituents are drawn.
constituents * 
The number of constituent listings which make up the index.
cap_level 
The market capitalization level of the index constituents (e.g. large cap, mid cap, etc.)
mcap 
The total market capitalization of the index as of the year-end of the previous year.
weighting 
The weighting method employed by the index (chiefly either market value-weighted or price-weighted).
related 
Any other indices belonging to the same family.
homepage 
Official website of the index, if it has one.
