[edit] Wrong definition suspected

When I went to school, inflation adjustment adjusted for changes in inflation for which the CPI (Consumer Price Index) is a useful surrogate. It did NOT adjust directly for changes in the money supply. However, I do not have a higher degree in economics and I could be wrong. Is there anyone reading this able to check (and if appropriate correct) the definition currently appearing here?
