InfoNU is an open and extensible web-based mobile mass communication environment for mobile marketers. It provides support for a tasks such as mobile permission marketing, WAP Push, and automatic creation of mobile applications in Java J2ME.
InfoNU attempts to uniformly capture all aspects of mobile marketing, rather than just specialized areas. This is made possible by the idea of building blocks written in Java J2ME, emphasing the use of a simple plug-in architecture where marketers can extend the system with their own software.
Some building blocks in InfoNU are released under the GNU Lesser General Public License, making it free software.
