Talk:Indoor ski slope
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The first indoor slope in the world was Mt. Thebarton, Adelaide, Australia and it's still in operation today. SSAWS in Tokyo was certainly one of the first and one of the longest, but it is now closed and the site will be redeveloped.
The UK has a third operation indoor slope at Castleford.
There's a big map of all the UK indoor proposals at www.theboarder.co.uk
They are building one in Berlin right now. It is supposed to open in 2007.
