[edit] Anyone know why this tour was cancelled?

The India national cricket team was due to tour Australia in the 2001-02 Australian cricket season but the tour was cancelled. Three limited overs matches were scheduled to be played at Melbourne and Brisbane in September 2001 but all were abandoned without any toss being made.

Answers on a postcard, please. I thought it was to do with the Mike Denness and Indian cricket team incident affair but that happened two months later! --BlackJack | ^{talk page} 19:00, 24 June 2007 (UTC)
