[edit] Category

This page was previously in Category:New York City Subway lines. This seemed wrong. Every other entry in that category is a line that physically exists. The Worth Street Line was merely a plan (one of many) that was never built. I considered Category:Defunct New York City Subway lines. But every entry in that category physically existed at one time. The Worth Street Line never existed at all.

So for now, I put it into Category:New York City Subway history. I am not convinced that the IND Worth Street Line is notable enough to deserve a separate article. There are numerous places in the subway system that have provisions for never-built lines. This seems to be the only one with its own article. Marc Shepherd 17:26, 3 August 2007 (UTC)
