[edit] Portal link trouble to the I.D. Article?

Maybe I'm screwing up because I'm still sort of new at this, but when I tried adding the box link thing (see top right) to the http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Industrial_Design article I checked the preview and noticed that instead of the new portal panel adding a link to this portal, it added a link to the action=edit.

If I add it, will clicking it load a page that will overwrite all the work already done here? (by a5y 20:09, 3 April 2006 (UTC))

I tryed the same and i get the same result... i do not realy know what is going wrong... but when i create the portal... the guidelines said that you should not add the "portal" tag to the main article until the portal is complete... anyway thanks for your contribution...Juan Scott 03:56, 12 April 2006 (UTC)
