Indiana School for the Blind and Visually Imapaired is a residential school for the visually impaired and blind youth of Indiana, located at 7725 North College Avenue in Indianapolis, Indiana. Students attend the school at grades ranging from preschool through high school. The current student population rests somewhere between 150 to 200 students; there are also an equal number of educators, maintenance, outreach, administrators, residential staff, and so forth.
[edit] Sports
The school has five sports that the students are allowed to be involved in during the school year. They include swimming, cheerleading, track, wrestling and forensics(Speech). The students compete against other schools in different states on the weekends instead of the normal competitions that public schools have.
