Indian Trails Middle School (ITMS) is a school in Winter Springs, Florida. The school hosts 6th, 7th and 8th graders. The principal of the school is Mrs. Chavis, who replaced former principal, Eugene Petty,on April 25, 2008. The assistant principals of the school are Nomie Kuniak, Joseph Knorr, and Cathleen Oppelt. The dean of students is Fred Lyster.

In November, 1992, Indian Trails Middle School opened it's doors. In 1999, the courtyard mural was painted, in 2006, the compass was remade. ITMS history

Indian trails has a thriving band program. Band director Joey Monahan has been at the school for 2 years.However, he will be not be at the school for the 08-09 school year, as he will attend USF to get his Master's degree.

ITMS is one of the only Middle Schools in Seminole County that has an after school drama program and gets money from many people coming to see the shows. The most recent play was "The Lady Pirates of Captin Bree." [1]
