Indian Film Festival of Los Angeles

The Indian Film Festival of Los Angeles is an annual film festival held in Los Angeles, California. It is a nonprofit organization devoted to paving the way for a greater appreciation of Indian cinema and diverse culture by providing the public with a selection of films from and about the Indian diaspora by Indian and international filmmakers.

It presents Grand Jury and Audience Choice awards in the following categories: Best Feature, Best Documentary, and Best Short.

The Sixth Annual Indian Film Festival of Los Angeles will take place during April 22-27, 2008 at ArcLight Hollywood. The Opening Night film on April 22nd will be Amal, directed by Richie Mehta and starring Rupinder Nagra, Koel Purie, Naseeruddin Shah, Roshan Seth, and Seema Biswas. The Closing Night film on April 27th will be Mumbai Cutting...A City Unfolds, directed by Sudhir Mishra, Anurag Kashyap (director), Rahul Dholakia, Ruchi Narain, Kundan Shah, Revathi, Shashank Ghosh, Jahnu Barua, Manish Jha, and Rituparno Ghosh. Madhuri Dixit will be the honoree of the Indian Film Festival of Los Angeles' Tribute.
