The India Davis Cup team represents India in Davis Cup tennis competition and are governed by the All India Tennis Association.
India finished as runners-up 3 times (1966, 1974, 1987). In 1974, they refused to play South Africa in the final, due to the government's apartheid policies. They currently compete in the Asia/Oceana Zone of Group I. They last competed in the World Group in 1998.
