Recently developed and prototyped the world's first Light Sport Diesel powered aircraft. The project was headed up by LSA Guru and current Director Of Production Aldo James Sibi. Amazingly, the aircraft was built in only 30 days from just a thought to flying example. The team at Indus has been instrumental in perfecting an already fine light sport aircraft. In the past year, not only has Aldo and his team made history, they have taken a fine aircraft and brought it to the next level. The new Lopresti style cowl, boarding steps, landing gear and oil cooling modifications were all brainchildren of Mr. Sibi and his team. The new Thorpedo now competes with higher end imports that now dominate the industry. With one difference ... the Thorpedo is the finest trainer made and supported in the USA - a fact that until recently has been overlooked.
