Indian's with Madero's army before the fight was to take place between them and Diaz's army. Diaz's regime started to fall apart and Madero was jailed by Diaz in fear of him winning the election and taking over control of Mexico. Once he was released mass amounts of public protest occurred due to the election fraud with Diaz created. The desire to removed Diaz was so great, that many native Indians and different leaders during this time were in support of Madero and fought on his side.
