Description
Português: Segunda fase do incêndio ocorrido no Edifício Grande Avenida, em 14 de fevereiro de 1981, na Avenida Paulista a 50 metros da rua Peixoto Gomide, na cidade de São Paulo, Brasil.
Na tarde daquele dia ocorreu o incêndio de grandes proporções, tendo início na sobreloja e destruindo todo o prédio. Dezessete pessoas morreram. Era sábado de carnaval e o prédio estava semivazio. O fogo já estava avançando para outros andares. Uma pessoa do povo pegou tinta cal, e escreveu no alfalto, na outra pista da avenida: Calma! Calma!
