"Inbetweener" is a song by English Britpop band Sleeper, written by the band's vocalist and guitarist Louise Wener. It was the third single to be released from their debut album Smart in 1994 (see 1994 in British music). It is generally regarded by critics and fans alike as one of the band's finest songs.[who?]
The video for the single is set in a supermarket and features UK TV presenter Dale Winton (then of Supermarket Sweep fame) in a cameo appearance. He peers over shelves and shakes pipes of Pringles as if they're musical shakers!
