Inazuma Eleven (イナズマイレブン?) is an RPG video game for the Nintendo DS. There will also be a manga and anime based on this game, currently in production. It is set for its release on August 22, 2008.
A trial version was included in the second game of the Professor Layton series.

[edit] Story mode
Main character is to find and collect members for his soccer team. There are nearly 1000 people to choose from. Skills of the team will depend on these players.
[edit] Match mode
Using a stylus, move the players around, and battle against the other team. Each player could either dodge opponent's attacks, slide to take their ball away, or use a special ability most players have. Special abilities vary between players.
[edit] Connection mode
Battle other players through wi-fi connection.
