[edit] Article Overhaul
I can't be sure why this page receives so little love, so to speak, as there are many ITG players out there other than myself, more than enough of whom are rather picky about any information that might be floating about.
However, I've taken the liberty of giving this page a major and much-needed makeover, including restructuring, clarifications, and elimination of nitpicky stuff that people unfamiliar with ITG absolutely wouldn't care about when first looking at the article (like the section about the timing differences between ITG and DDR/PIU - nobody other than seasoned players switching from one game to another would care about that).
I gave this article its makeover with people curious about this game in mind; I tried as best I could to explain everything in as simple a way as possible so as not to confuse potential new players. I also attempted as much as possible to maintain a neutral point of view (one of the things Wikipedia is very picky about). I believe I've done a good job of it, but if something's wrong, please let me know!!
Incidentally, I'd love to include pictures (especially of holds, rolls and mines), but I have none at the moment. Also, I know nothing about the issue mentioned below regarding Fair Use with that picture; if anyone can do anything about either of these issues, be my guest.AceOfHearts 1:34, 14 April 2008

I agree with the idea to show images of the particular notes: The issue however is that the basis for the mine image used in Stepmania (and thus ITG since they are one in the same) happened to be a "ripped" image from the background of some older Dance Dance Revolution games: While Konami has said nothing about this image, and it was only minor and is no longer used, there still MIGHT be an issue there. However, I still agree with showing them all: Maybe as one image (I could easily make an edit chart that would show all of these steps at the same time, and the image could be edited with text to point out each one). Also, your edits are quite nice: great job! KurisuYamato (talk) 05:02, 15 April 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:Itgbox.jpg
Image:Itgbox.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
