In the Pocket is singer-songwriter James Taylor's seventh album. Released in 1976, it contains the hit "Shower the People", one of Taylor's classic compositions, which climbed to number 22 on the Billboard charts on September 18, 1976.

The song "Shower the People" was later covered by country music band 4 Runner on their 2003 album Getaway Car.
