[edit] Christmas Disney Movie
This 1991 Disney Christmas movie starred Lloyd Bridges and Michael Tucker. The old Santa Claus(Lloyd Bridges) had seven days to find the new Santa Claus(Michael Tucker) and pass the torch to him. The only problem was the new Santa Claus is a curmudgeon who lost his wife and his will to live. He works as a reporter for The Chicago Sun Times, which is a throwback to Yes, Virginia There Is A Santa Claus, and has to rediscover the joy of Christmas. At the last minute, or In The Nick Of Time, he realizes what is important and becomes the new Santa Claus. It also features a great performance by Cleavon Little. It is a classic Disney Santa Claus movie, years before the Claus handoff became overdone.
